Custard Powder

FANTASIA CUSTARD POWDER

Powder for the cold preparation of custard cream.

Custard (French: crème Anglaise) is favoured for serving warm alongside steamed puddings and cakes or chilled and layered with jelly, fruit and sponge cake in that other English dessert favourite: the Trifle. A highly versatile ingredient, it can also be used in frozen applications.

Usage: 

  1. add 375 to 400 g of custard powder to 1 litre of cold water
  2. blend slowly until the cream thickens
  3. whip at high speed for about 3 to 4 minutes until the desired texture is obtained
  4. rest for approx. 5 to 10 minutes

  • Shelf life: 12 months from date of production (undamaged packaging)
  • Storage conditions: store in a cool and dry place (preferably at 20°C, 60-80% humidity).  No direct sunlight. Avoid strong odours and direct contact with walls and floors. Keep packaging undamaged. Close packaging properly after use.
  • Packaging: 10kg / 25kg bags. 700kg / 800kg in Euro pallet (80x120). 1000kg / 1000kg in One-way pallet (100x120).
