Vitamins

Vitamins are organic compounds required in the diet for normal growth and health of any organism. They often are not synthesized and must be supplied for the normal nutrition. There are two groups of vitamins: water-soluble and fat-soluble.

A shortage of each vitamin has its specific symptoms. In general, the reduced growth is the most common indicator of any vitamin deficit.
